  • use, treatment, maintenance and test of the tools, equipment , preservation and tools for live working
  • principles for preparation, carrying-out and completion of live working
  • common working methods while live working, safety and first aid
  • where applicable: company management structure, type of company standards
  • written test

Passing the test will be precondition for participating in practical training.

The content of practical training can coordinated individually.

Practical training plastic cable

Duration: 1 day

  • branch tee by means of clamping ring technology of Three-conductor cable or Four-conductor cable
  • cutting of plastic cable of Three-conductor cable or Four- conductor cable
  • Assembling of insulting end caps
  • Assembling of straight-joints, Three-conductor cable or Four- conductor cable

Practical training oil-insulated cable

Duration:
2 days- NKBA and NAKBA
3 days- including NAKLEY

  • Branch tee

  • Clamping and disconnecting of cables and lines at connections of junctions and und house connection boxes

  • Optional: working on battery power stations

Duration: 1 day

  • Clamping and disconnecting of house connection lines
  • Clamping and disconnecting at tower connections
  • Covering for building activities
  • Clamping and disconnecting of overhead cables and overhead lines

MSR

Duration: ½ day

  • work at terminal strips
  • Installing and removing of devices with screw terminal
  • production and removing of wire termination and auxiliary busbars
  • temporary connections of measurement devices

Theoretical and practical risk assessment in low-voltage equipment

The seminar will supplement the seminar for “Executive Manager Low Voltage” with details of risk assessment and its documentation for the individual technology. Results will be technical and organisational measures.

e.g.:

  • Resulting contents of work instruction (e.g. steps in the assembly)
  • Apply respectively network technology measures in different technologies and networks
  • secure transactions of network technology measure
  • cooperation of persons involved in live working including the personnel requirements
  • selection of the adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the employees
  • Determination of number of the executive and supervisor persons
  • determine special equipment for the appropriate technology
  • Determination of preventing electrical and other potential endangerments
  • Documentation of risk assessment

Contents of seminar:

  • Definition of risk analysis in accordance with valid safety regulations
  • Determination of possible risks at live working at plastic cable, oil-insulated cables, switchgears, overhead lines, electrical meters, measuring and control installations and battery power systems
  • On agreement, individual requirements of the customer can be taken into account.
  • Types of electrical networks, its short-circuit current and duration
  • Observe assembly steps of selected technologies and determination of possible risks
  • Preparation and implementation of assembly steps of selected technologies to avoid risks
  • Determination of live working tools in according of the respective technology
  • Determination safety-related measures in network
  • Determine the respective PPE of the respective technology
  • Dokumentation of risk assessment
  • Creation of work instructions of selected technologies
  • Get together at dinner

This seminar is divided in lecture part and group work.

Ends: about 13:00 on the following day

Qualification to electrically instructed person (EuP)

Target group are employees, who working at or in the vicinity of electrotechnical systems and who does not have a complete electrical education. For successful participation in the seminar participants get the certificate “electrical instructed persons of BGV A3”.

Duration: 2- 3 days

Theory and practice will be adapted on the future job profile e.g.:

  • BGV A 1 and BGV A3, VDE 105/100, possible BGR A3
  • electrotechnical basic knowledge
  • dangers of an electric current
  • First aid after electricity-related accidents
  • work methods at or in the near of electrical installation
  • Work near live installations and equipment
  • 5 safety rules in theory and practice
  • Work with testers and measuring devices
  • Live Working, instructions, equipment
  • Equipment and their identification (label and tags), selection criteria for segregation
  • Practical exercises or training technical locking and releasing
  • Written exam

Every participant receives after completion of course a confirmation of participation with a list of contents of training e.g.:

  • EuP- for work in the near of electrical installations
  • EuP- Locking of electrical meters
  • EuP- Supervisor of live working
  • EuP- First aid after electricity-related accidents
