Seminar requirements:

  • Electrically skilled person with sufficiently knowledge of work under absence of voltage, health viewpoint and personal suited

  • Basics of occupational safety
  • instructions for live working, Safety at Work Act
  • work methods to work near live installation and equipment
  • Live working
  • Work instruction, permission for live working, safety measures for live working
  • principles for preparation, carrying-out, completion and termination of live working
  • common working methods while live working, work on distance
  • Cooperation authorized skilled electrical technicians who give instructions, system manager, network control station, supervisor on the ground
  • Minimum approach distance (MAD), modified minimum approach distance (MAD)
  • Work instructions for live working
  • Where applicable: management structure, factory standard
  • Installation,use, treatment, maintenance and test of the equipment
  • Mounting of locking devices for switchgears
  • Written exam

Prerequisite for participation in the practical training is passing the theoretical training. Practical training can be arranged individually .

Practical training dry cleaning up to 36 kV

Duration: 1 day

  • Working instructions for cleaning switchgears 1 – 36 kV with suction technology
  • Preparation of medium voltage Live Working (equipment, humidity, installation, instruction, registration, person responsible for construction/network control station…)
  • Implementation of live working
  • Mounting locking devices at transformer switch
  • Minimum approach distance (MAD), modified minimum approach distance (MAD)
  • Handling suction technology considering minimum approach distance
  • Termination of Live Working, completion of Live Working
  • Cleaning and maintenance of the equipment
  • The practical part will be done de-energized and by real Live Working
  • Practical exam
  • Evaluation
